Andrea Garcia
Office Mgr., Licensed Skin Care Specialist, Makeup Artist, Nail Tech

Hello, my name is Andrea and I am the Spa/Office manager Here at Genesis Health Spa. I have worked in this industry for ten years and have been blessed with many opportunities to work in and experience all areas of the salon and spa. I am happy to be of service to you and my goal is to teach and encourage the staff here at Genesis Health Spa to provide the most personal, and luxurious service possible and to create an environment where our customers know they are always welcome and are always a part of our family.I want Genesis to be a retreat to you, everytime you walk through our door. I look forward to meeting you!

Before I even knew I wanted to be an esthetician I worked as a make-up artist, which happens to be my first love. I started out self taught and then as my work was noticed I received opportunities to take classes to further my knowledge, talents and abilities. From there it dawned on me that skincare goes hand in hand with make-up and I realized I needed to teach people the importance of caring for their skin, so I decided to sign up for esthetics school. I attended the esthetics and nail technician program at Callas Beauty Institute in Rio Rancho New Mexico and I am licensed to practice skincare, make-up and nail services. I also have an extensive background, and am certified in advanced skincare services for the face and body and have worked for many years in salon and spa management.

Providing superior skincare services to my clients is my desire and my passion. I love and am comfortable working with all different skin types. My goal is to help treat and correct imperfections of the skin and in turn teach my clients the importance of caring for their skin properly at home. It is my goal to make sure that you, our clients, are beyond satisfied and happy with the treatments and customer service provided to you. It is also my pleasure to be of service to you! Laura McCauley
Massage Therapist

I graduated from the Denver School of Massage Therapy in 2005. After graduating I opened a business with a classmate. The business is still thriving in Arvada, CO. I am blessed to have a terrific touch (or so I have been told ) and I love working with each client individually to work out a plan that is best for them. I love helping clients achieve a greater sense of wellness and stress free living.

I love doing deep work on clients that when they leave the spa they feel the difference immediately. I am also a very good listener and will work within each client’s individual pain threshold. I am practiced in deep tissue, trigger point, hot stones, pregnancy, cranial work, and others. I like to incorporate a variety of these modalities into the massage to achieve the optimal experience.

I can also like to help clients with stretches and help assess why you might have chronic pain and help you lessen the pain at home as well as come up with a plan of action to help you get back on the road to a healthy and pain free lifestyle. Especially here in New Mexico where there are soo many outdoor activities to take advantage of!!

I was married in 2009 and have four children of the four legged variety. My husband and I moved down to Albuquerque in September 2011. Michelle Ratcliff
Lead Esthetician, Makeup Artist

Hello, my name is Michelle. I am the lead esthetician here at Genesis Health Spa. I attained my esthetics license from the Aveda Institute of New Mexico and have attended several advanced continuing education classes to further my knowledge and expertise. I specialize in Anti-Aging skin treatments, Hydrafacials, Chemical skin peeling, epilation, and body contouring, to name a few.

I am passionate about what I do and am very detailed and precise when it comes to health and beautifying of my client’s skin and body! I am thrilled to be a part of such a wonderful new health and wellness spa and I look forward to building a long lasting friendship with you! Come see me!

Dr. Heather Jones - DOM, Dipl. OM - Dr. of Oriental Medicine

Dr. Heather Jones is a Doctor of Oriental Medicine (DOM), a Microlight Therapy Specialist, and a Certified Reiki Practitioner. She received her Master of Science in Oriental Medicine from Southwest Acupuncture College in Albuquerque, New Mexico. In addition to her licensure to practice Oriental Medicine within the state of New Mexico, Dr. Jones is a nationally certified Diplomat of Oriental Medicine (Dipl. OM). She has advanced training in formulating custom herbal remedies as well as in microlight therapy; this includes intensive training under some of the country’s leaders in the use of microcurrent combined with the ancient principles of Oriental Medicine. Dr. Jones also completed an advanced internship at Heilongzhong University Hospital, in Harbin, China; one of northeast China’s leading Traditional Chinese Medical hospitals.

Dr. Heather Jones is very passionate about teaching her patients to use the ancient principles of Oriental Medicine in new ways to heal themselves, their families, and to show how we all can take control of our own health and healthcare. This is easily achieved through a joint effort between Dr. Jones and each patient through focusing on prevention of illness, treating the root causes of any condition or illness instead of merely treating the symptoms, and being consistently committed to our wellness programs. Heather works to guide each of her patients in healing the mind, body, and spirit to achieve true and complete health and inner balance.

Diane Vallejos-McDaniel
Massage Therapist

Hello, my name is Diane and I am one of the massage therapists here at Genesis. I have been providing superior care for 16 years. I am knowledgeable in many massage and body modalities and I am certified in cranial sacral therapy 1 and 2. I work with issues concerning post-traumatic stress disorder and I also volunteer my time with veterans, people dealing with domestic violence and cancer survivors.

Having a daughter with autism, I decided to treat her autism with cranial sacral therapy and I have seen my daughter advance greatly with cranial therapy. I am experienced in working with cranial and facial trauma, bells palsy, TMJ, migraines and many other disorders involving cranial, spinal, sacral issues. I am also certified in abdomen, shoulder and lower back region therapy and I provide gentle massage therapies to cancer patients. I am here to help!
